Uniq plc Board Changes

Uniq plc, the chilled European chilled foods group, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Warren as a Non-Executive Director from 16 March 2007.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, John is a former Group Finance Director of United Biscuits and W H Smith. He is a Non-Executive Director of Bovis Homes Group plc, BPP Holdings plc, The Rank Group plc and Spectris plc.

Margaret Young, a Non-Executive Director since 1999, will be standing down from the Uniq Board following the company's AGM on 17th May 2007. John Warren will assume Margaret's responsibilities as chair of the company's audit committee from that date.
